I currently live in Connecticut, but I miss San Diego a lot. I wish I was back there haha.

I agree. I'm not into this weather when it's supposed to be winter... to counter the snowbirds, I'm considering a COLD weather getaway.

I don't miss the east coast one bit !

They can keep their freezing temperatures, and snow and ice covered roads.

I'd rather spend winters in 80 degree near-perfect weather like we have right now!

Minnesota, where it's 20 below, that's where you get frostbite.
Minnesnowta, that's where I'm from! That is why I am glad to be in Southern California!

When are we going to get San Diego weather again? Not sure what this is--Tucson? No, Tucson gets SOME precipitation from the monsoons. It's great for the tourists, but we do need that RAIN. If this keeps up, the county will be ablaze and shown all over the world on CNN--no one will be ooing and ahhing us then. I prefer the more "classic" weather that gets us our reputation. I do enjoy being free of the ice and sleet, but a climate completely devoid of any precipitation is not a good thing either. Soon enough, we'll have our awesome "normal" San Diego summer weather again but we need some water in the meantime

Fire season is always bad. If it's been dry, the fire chief says "It's really dry and brittle out there, we better be careful." If it's been wet, the fire chief says "There's a lot of new growth out there, lots of fuel to burn, so we better be careful." Either way, they say it's bad.

Very much so, people can have their four seasons if that's what they want. I want as much sunshine as possible, and I'm very happy to be here especially this time of year.

Default Bring on the sun

I think I suffer from that disorder when you feel depressed when it isn't sunny. That is why I moved here. You have to remember that back east, its not just the cold that I hated, its that everything is gray. From the sky to the grass, the trees, everything is gray. For months. Then in the summer it is so humid you cannot breathe outside. There are only like 7 "San Diego" days a year. I know we need rain but what we also need to do is figure out how to capture the rain we do get instead of letting it run off.

I pray that there will be no major fires but I have to admit I love the sun.
