Eh, I'd say some beaches in La Jolla and South Orange County could give Tahoe a run for it's money otherwise I guess I can see why some people would say that, they are pretty nice and the water is crystal clear. Water is cold in Tahoe though.

What's your point? It fits into my itinerary, did you not read where I am coming from? This is a 27 day trip.
