That's about right for downtown Lafayette. 1000 Dewing is a pretty nice building in downtown, extremely walkable and I discovered that quite a few transient pro-athletes live there when theyre in town.

Oh, and I have no personal financial connection with that property, I just know people who live there and have visited and have walked around. It's just about perfect as far as small town downtowns go imo.

Mountain View. Good for both singles and families. Very walkable with easy parking and close to light rail and Cal Train.
