Hi Momma_S,

I thought of giving you some information about restaurants in Sunnyvale area.

Sal's Scoop Shop,
- Chili's Grill & Bar,
-Don Pablo's are some good restaurants in MI.

uummm... yea.... not sure about Sal's Scoop, but Chili's & Don's are pretty standard restaurants, and not that great IMO.

Will you consider cities along the Caltrain and/or ACE Train service? As for Caltrain, you can consider the Peninsula. As for ACE Trains, you can consider Pleasanton and the Tri-Valley. Your husband can get off at the Great America Station and use VTA to get to Moffett Field. The Tri-Valley is very family-oriented with excellent schools. It can be less expensive than the Peninsula.

If you are looking to own in the future, you can follow the ACE train a little further inland for affordable homes. However, after Vasco Station, not all of the cities eastward have good schools, but if you can find the good schools, then you should be fine. In fact, $1,800 a month is enough to buy a decent home there right now.
