help i need to know the public buses from san jose to los gatos (Mountain View: train station)

i start my job this monday and im in desperate need to find the buses that will take me from white st in san jose to los gatos knowles st. im very new to the area and im staying with a friend until i get a place but in the meantime im taking the public transportation route for now. im not familliar with any of the areas well and ive never taken the bus out so any advice or bus numbers or routes will be greatly appreciated very much. im just stressing a little ,

In Los Gatos get Bus 48 to the Winchester Transit center, then get the lightrail to the Mountain View direction and get out on Diridon station, it will be a 5 minute walk to White street. Together it will take a little over 1 hour to get there.
