Pickleball is lots of fun and people of all ages can play. My husband I play at least three times a week. Our oldest player is 85 and he can beat most of us. Our youngest player is 18 and he has such power. When he slams it I don't have a prayer of returning it. I actually like a more gentile game, but some people are quite competitive. I read that pickleball is the fastest growing sport in America and from the turn out we're getting I believe it.

Well, bless you heart. Mr. Dublin - I was in no way pushing my belief on others. Religion must be a big sore spot with you. Sorry to get you so angry. Cardiff by the Sea puts my comments in the right perspective.

The church groups I am referring to were social groups - not religious services - the Christians will welcome you whether or not you believe in God - they will be friends with you and leave the rest up to you.

If the OP is not religious I would like to recommend an atheist or agnostic group - they meet too.

Have a wonderful day!

Of course they will welcome you. They want their donations because "sales" are declining each year.

I would rather pay a church to use their money to help people, not all churches are corrupt. Anyway - you can participate in a church and never give them money - maybe you can give your time helping someone, visiting an old person alone in a nursing home or helping children read - they will not turn you away for not giving them any money.

After this one I give up -

Well - has the OP tried any of our suggestions this weekend? - I suggested the animal shelter, church or atheist meet-up, SUP and biking.

Yes. It bothers me when people post a thread and abandon it. People put energy into responding and there is no response. I would like to hear from OP about his reactions to the posts.

The OP may want to check if he/she is giving off a negative vibe, or coming on too strong, too soon. Both would elicit negative reactions from strangers, at least at first. All of the above suggestions sound great, but if your attitude isn't good, none of it will help.
