I think Smiledoc would be happy to bring some with him, and hand it to you when you catch up on the presentation and the Chinese Videos he has.

I don't think the snow will survive the plane flight. Though I did hear on the radio that snow is not out of the question for Saturday.

Big House,
The presentation is now in Powerpoint. No more of this old fashioned stuff. The talk was attended by about 75 people in VW. It got a nice write up in the VW newsletter. The talk was scheduled for 45 minutes with 15 minutes of Q&A after, but the Q&A part went on for 45 minutes. I needed a refill of my Diet Coke.

Hey Smiledoc,
I was scheduled to go up to MD for a bid, that we have decided to not pursue, so now I'm not going to be heading up next week. If you have time, I'd like to meet up and see your presentation. That would be cool.

I bet you could manage a soft pack cooler of snow. That way SoFLGal won't be able to claim she's never seen real snow. Although knowing you, you'd probably scrape out your freezer and present that too her! LOL - Just Kidding!

Hey Sunshines!
If your gonna live here, you are just going to have to speak proper English! Not that diatribe (of words that are barely allowed in a Scrabble Game) that you think is English. Now Git Down wit it!

SoFLGal,
China is a bit different than Florida! And, a little further North than NY, and quite a bit South of Miami, and not to confuse things East of Los Angeles. Oh and East of London (in case the Sunshines aren't sure). I wonder, . . . hmmmm . . . . if you started to attract Chinese buyers here to SWFL, you might have an opening to a larger population of buyers!

Ok, its early, and I haven't finished my coffee! Forgive me for messing around this morning. - Please!

SoFLGal,
China is a Oh and East of London (in case the Sunshines aren't sure). !
dear Mr large abode, as one has previoulsy established the lingo you colonials attempt to speak is what is referred to as THE QUEENS ENGLISH. Her Majesty has deigned to allow you jolly foreign types to communicate using her official languauge. However you have bastardised it by dropping U's (honor ), saying y'all instead of you all, and "how youse doin" whereas the couteous greeting would be " and how is one today".

and not to be pedantic but China is east and west of London (zero meridian, centre of the world) as the world is round (a fact discovered by ENGLISH sea farers long before the New world (or America as it is now called) was even discovered.

Might one remind you , amigo that if it wasnt for Pilgrims from PLYMOUTH ENGLAND you would still be running around in feathers and you my friend would be Large Teepee rather than Big House.

So don' be dissin ma homies from da UK you wanna be Irishman .

PS one would be happy to elucidate some more correct elocution lessons at our next tea party (oh bugger we always lose at those ).

Salud compadre !

We'll see who gets the last laugh, when you're applying for citizenship, and have to renounce all your blubbering!

More importantly, though, we serve ALL of our beer cold here! LOL

Mr&mrssunshine,

Might I remind you, pengyou (Chinese for "friend"), that in a declarative sentence, the phrase, "if it wasn't", is grammatically incorrect. This is a subjective phrase and the proper grammar is "if it weren't". Perhaps BigHouse and I can conduct an English lesson for you at our next meeting.

May I enlighten you a bit more? The Chinese word for "China" is "Zhongguo" which literally means "Middle Country". It would be a bit presumptuous of you Londoners to claim you are the middle of the world when the Chinese have already bestowed that title upon themselves. You could have called yourselves " zero meridian" but you passed on that. No sense crying about that now. Too late!!
