We are moving to the area this summer, my husband will be stationed at stewart.
We are disappointed by the selection of housing in Richmond hill proper. Most of it is very close together and there are very few over sized 2 car garages or 3 car. We drove further out towards Brighton, Palm Bay, Buckhead, and Brigham lakes and found more homes that meet our criteria but the drive to stewart increases. Btw if you havent been out to brighton or palm bay the homes are BEAUTIFUL.
* however I am curious if i am missing a subdivision or home somewhere? We are looking for at least 2,000sqf oversized 2 car or 3 car garage, fenced or fenceable yard, we dont want to be right in top of our neighbors, & under 300k. We are also considering Rice Mill in Georgetown or Forest Cove but im hesitant to buy there and the drive to post is just as far as the places in Richmond Hill that we like.
Any advice???
P.s.
We do not have kids so schools are not a big deal for us but i am worried that may be an issue when we go to sell in a couple of years.

We really liked the Buckhead area of Richmond Hill, because the lots are big. But like you, we wanted at least a 3 car garage. There weren't any when we were looking, but once in awhile a 3 car goes on the market.

* however I am curious if i am missing a subdivision or home somewhere? We are looking for at least 2,000sqf oversized 2 car or 3 car garage, fenced or fenceable yard, we dont want to be right in top of our neighbors, & under 300k. We are also considering Rice Mill in Georgetown or Forest Cove but im hesitant to buy there and the drive to post is just as far as the places in Richmond Hill that we like.
