Hey there. My friend and I are looking for a place to go out dancing this weekend and need some advice: Where do we go? We have both lived here for about a year and have no clue where any clubs are located.

Anyway, we are looking for an actual club, not just a bar with a dance floor (that we have found already). I have been to Noc Noc and truthfully was not a fan (although I was there for eighties night and it wasn't really my type of music). Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Default Good Seattle Nightclub

Seattle has no shortage of local bars and well known for its great nightlife. There are so many nightclubs. When I was there, visited Pete's Grill & Pub and had a great time.

If you want to dance, go the the Washington Dance Club on the corner of Stewert and Boren. This is the last remaining old fashioned dance halls in Seattle. It used to be called The Avalon. The decor will carry you back to the '30's and '40's. Great people there and it's where my wife and I learned to dance.
Another great place is the 'Jazz Alley', 2033 -6th Ave.

Havana on Capitol Hill is really fun. (Go to The Saint for drinks or dinner and get a stamp- it will get you in for free).

If you don't mind dancing with the bridge and tunnel crowd, Trinity and Last Supper Club can be fun with the right group of friends.

Other than that, just wait for good DJ's to play at Neumos, Showbox and Chop Suey. Those will bring the best types of crowds. For example, Cut Copy is playing at Showbox next Tuesday and that will be a huge dance party.
