Also, I don't know what kind of people you hang around with, but no one has ever come up to me and randomly assumed I was a Hawks fan.
You don't live in this town I suppose. One cannot walk ten feet without hearing about the Sea birds over and over again and any random person will talk to you assuming you follow it just because you are a male who lives in the Pacific North West.

I don't care what people are into, just so long as they don't shove it down my throats. But this time of year its Christmas shoved down my throat, not just Seabirds.

Sport fandom should be more lighthearted and fun, but haters on both sides gonna hate.
I see the holiday spirit has embraced you elkotronics.

"more of a festivus person elkotronics, huh?"

Actually I think you and I might be more on the same track than I thought! Our son really loves Seinfeld. He recorded pretty much all of them.

Lots of folks here complain about the Seattle Freeze but it sounds like if I walk up to people and say "Merry Christmas!" they will be offended?

In any case, Merry Christmas all!

RVD.

Wasn't a football fan until I moved to Seattle... Wow, to finally live in a place with a pro winning team.. Go Hawks!! Nothing wrong with a town being loyal to its football team.. If they were not loyal, I'd call them a bunch of pushovers, especially with this winning streak.

Says who? People can support whoever they want.
