“CALL IT THE BENEFITS of hub life: There are more than a hundred destinations you can reach from Seattle’s airports, served by more than 30 airlines. Travel as close as San Juan Island (35 minutes of scenic cruising) to as far-off as Dubai (more than 14 hours in an airliner) and never suffer the indignity of a layover. Even with most of Sea-Tac’s China routes still on pandemic hold, there are still more international nonstops in 2022 than there were pre-Covid.

We catalogued all the direct flights from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, plus our other, smaller runways. Note that some flights are seasonal, and as is always the case with an international hub, the flight maps (like Sea-Tac’s domestic and international ones) are ever-evolving”.

Thanks for sharing homes. Madison is an interesting one since it’s a fairly smallish city and also far away. I wonder if that’s an Alaska flight? I’ll have to look it up. I’ve only heard great things about Madison and I’ve always wanted to visit. Also the Canada nonstops are great!

I'm most impressed by the non stops to the cities in Europe. I haven't been to most of those.

What's the issue with SLC? I travelled to the east coast so many times and SLC is never a connection city. When I drive I sure go through there.

Seattle is geographically an important stop for many airlines. Planes that need to fly polar are a natural stop at SEA. The market may be 13th in population but definitely top 10 in overseas flights.

I truly hope I never say that until the day I die. One of my great joys of my life has been to travel around the world and see history, cultures, meet people and try foods different than my own.
