I love the pictures that pwright posts, and would love to see what an "average day in Seattle/Washington" looks like. Rainy, overcast, whatever. Personally I like that kind of weather and would love to see some pictures!

Did you take all the pictures in one day? That would not surprise me at all... our weather is so changeable up here... but rarely a day goes by that we don't get some overcast skies and a little bit of the wet stuff.

Now to tell the truth--on the days we DO really get sun, there is no more beautiful place on the planet!!!

Nope. All those neighborhoods in one day? I don't think so.

I do agree with that.

pwright, you are so misleading. Aren't you a realtor? Yipes!

My husband (who had been in Seattle longer than I) and I were sitting here laughing at those pictures - "A typical rainy Seattle day" - HA!!!!!

Sounds like somebody needs therapy to deal with their "Seattle Trauma"

Did somebody mistreat you while you were living up there?

Come down to North Texas. You will love our 5 months of temps over 100F where the air is dry and infested with insects and bugs. Oh, and our terrain is flat and featurless.

Don't like the rain? You will definently love it down here. Droughts and dry spells are common...so get ready for year round water conservation. Don't even think about watering your lawn or you will be slapped with a big fine!

Oh, and you will have the pleasure of hearing Texans remind you everyday-in a southern accent ala Bush- of how this is the best place on earth... and point at our small trees as signs of green scenery

And I agree with M Type X, Seattle is beautiful no matter the weather. The people are beautiful-particularly on the inside- and the landscape is like something out of a fairytale.

AH, just beautiful!!! If I can find an affordable temporary place to rent for a few weeks each summer I would be there. I like the pacific nw, well at least in the summer which is the only time that I've visited.
