Default First Hill?

This is one I've never got around to asking about. What are your opinions on First Hill? I've been looking at some apartments online and I'm currently interested in this one in the First Hill area. I know absolutely nothing about it TBH. Quite frankly, I can cope with what most Seattle citizens consider "ghetto". I'm actually quite used to it, although I prefer a nice neighbourhood. If you all think it's not to great, I probably won't move there. So, what do you all think of First Hill (9th Avenue)? Thanks.

Depends where on 9th Avenue, If it's within a block or so to Harborview Hospital, I'd probably avoid it. Other parts of 9th, like near Spring Street, would be better.
It's pretty dense, so if traffic noise and all things urban don't bother you, First Hill is pretty convenient to everything.
