The pathetic lack of preparedness is a bitter pill for those who "get preparedness", but who will be victims of the unprepared hysterical little americanized dummies running around in poopy undies because there is NOTHING to sustain their lives! An occassional albeit delicious german sheppard sadly separated from home coould keep them off your door.. Many will seek what you have stored and although you should have enough to help some the others need to be shot then buried (quickly) if you are able to go outside in fear of gang/looters/starving zoobie-like idiots

Oh no, no... that's a waste. Why not go into the Soylent Green business? After all, there will be a need, and where there is a need... well, you get the picture.

And also stray abandoned dogs would need to eat. Large numbers of corpses would only be a problem in the cities and who would want to hang around in a city if a major disaster happened? Out in the rural areas, it's like a dead deer or coyote. Bodies get taken care of.

Will this be in hot or cold weather? If it's cold I'll take my time and tan the hides, get the sinew and make tools from the bone.

If it's hot, the local ant mounds will atleast leave me the sinew and the bone picked clean.
