That's true.

Drano / strong bases, are a shortcut to using the plunger.

Roadsalt are a shortcut to shoveling snow (especially for the elderly).

Deicers as opposed to scrubbing the ice off yourself.

And so and so forth.

Anyone can think of any other shortcuts to hack your way through life?

Lint remover? Sounds like you think they are poorly groomed. Likewise, cleaning supplies sound like you think they have a dirty home. Might be insulting. If you need something inexpensive, maybe a tin of cookies or something else that doesn't involve work on their part.

Heated driveway is a shortcut to roadsalt and shoveling snow.

Insulated garage is a shortcut to deicers and scrubbing ice.
