What companies do you recommend?
I so far have quotes from Travelers and State Farm that are only about $20 difference in yearly premium. Any good/bad thoughts on these? I'm waiting on a quote from Allstate as well.
Liberty Mutual. Call Grady Willis at 704-847-8406 (they are licensed in SC too). You have to take claims and customer service into consideration and nobody beats LM in these categories.

Our's happens to be through Travelers (home/cars/boat). Haven't had a claim on boat or home...but they were excellent when we needed them for our cars.
In SC, it is always best to go with the smaller operations. Just do your online research on the company to make sure they have been in business for at least 10 years.
We used Ameriprise and we live in a 100 yr flood zone.
