I inherited my Detroit Tigers fan-hood from my dad. Some of my best memories as a kid are spending an evening at Tiger Stadium with my dad.

Now, I am not a fan of any other team he roots for, but he has always been a much bigger Tiger fan than any other team, so that rubbed off on me.

My dad grew up a fan of philadelphia sports but had moved to Chicago when he was 22. So Chicago sports were all around me when I grew up, including crazy fans on my moms side, which I fell into as well. So I guess you could say I inherited my fan-ness from my mom. Does that make me a mama's boy?

With that said, like many Chicago famalies, we had cubs fans and sox fans...Growing up in the late 80s early 90s I really liked Frank Thomas, Jack McDowell and Robin Ventura, so I because a Whitesox fan.

I already had a deep passion for all things New York but my dad being a Jets fan resulted in me following them instead of the Giants. Plus he's a Chelsea fan (soccer) because he grew up in London and, whilst they're not my favourite team (I support Aston Villa because they're local to where I grew up), I've been to a good few of their games so they have a special place in my heart.

Yep, Dad went to Cardinal games as a kid, got to meet a few players of the gas house gang. Him and my uncle would take the train 3 or 4 times a year for games at Sportsmens Park. Loved the Cardinals. He liked the Yankees as well as he was born in northeastern Oklahoma, pretty close to where Mickey Mantle grew up as a kid.

And of course, a Bronco fan.

Yep, Yankees. My father moved to the Bronx from SC back in the 50's and used to take us to the stadium sometimes. When we moved to Queens we never converted to the Mets, we stayed yankee fans. This was in the mid 70's with Reggie, Sweet Lou, Mickey Rivers, Thurman Munson (RIP) and of course, 'Ol Billy (Billy Martin) We used to listen to the games on the radio when we were driving and hear Phil "Holy Cow" Rizzuto rooting for his team.

No, and thank God. My father's from Cincinnati and there's no way I'd root for the Bengals, Reds, and OSU (and UC) over the Falcons, Braves, Hawks, and GT. Atlanta sports all the way.
