Thanks, I've always wanted to live in StL City but when I found the Moorlands neighborhood I feel in love with the exquisite masonary work and character of the neighborhood. Being walking distance to Forest Park, Shaw park, 2 ML stops, and dt Clayton is pretty sweet too.

Boom,
Definately take your camera with you. We'd love to see pics of your neighb! If you're like me and don't have a nice camera with a zoom, see if you can borrow one for the day from a friend or relative. It's amazing how much more details you see when you walk a neighb vs driving it. It's also more fun to have a partner in crime.

lol I was actually thinking about just using my iphone since it's always with me. My digicam is a couple years old and only 6 MP so it could provide some good, but not great pics. Last weekend the GF and I walked around Lafayette Square and could've gotten some great shots.

By the way for pics of my nabe, local blogger Mark Groth did an excellent job capturing it a month ago:

What a cool blog. St Louis is truly a city of neighborhoods and it's great to highlight them.

I could take some pics of downtown Kirkwood but I'm scared someone might call the cops on me.

Thanks. You should move back!

That house is a few blocks from me. It's kinda wierd and dark looking; and so many bars on the windows and doors.
