Does anyone know about this? Someone mentioned this "death" that happened in Feb 2012 in one of the units in the Saum Apartments. I was very creeped out.

I haven't heard any details aside from what has been reported. I honestly wouldn't read into it too much - don't let it creep you out or worry you!

Most violent crimes in St. Louis (as in the rest of the U.S.) are perpetrated by people who know their victims. 'Random' crimes aren't nearly as prevalent.

This kind of thing happens everywhere in the U.S, not just in St. Louis. For the most part, the Saum is quite nice- although I heard that it was better when it was under it's previous management.

Don't freak out to much, people die everyday...My house is old, and I'm sure someone has died in it during the last 70 years, but i don't dwell on it to much...if things go poorly, i might die in it too. So, all things said, unless it looked like some violent entry/assault that resulted in death, i wouldn't worry your little head to much about it.
