hello everyone, im moving to stl in the next week to start residency at SLU hospital; unfortunately im in the position where i could not come to the city prior to moving and have to pretty much blindly pick my apartment. Was wondering if anyone had an opinion on central west end city apartments? St. Louis Apartments for rent at Central West End City Apartments

My rationale for picking it is that its reasonably priced, seems like good location (right on outskirt of cwe) and relatively close to the hospital. Was wondering about how the area was since its on the outskirts of cwe and whether anyone had heard anything about the complex itself. Seems to have moderate review both good and bad so im not to sure what to make of that. Thanks a lot, I appreciate the help.

I have relatives that live there and they like it. I live pretty close and really like the area. It is close the hospital, close to Forest Park, close to the metrolink station. I would go for it.

One of my friends used to live there. I always liked it, and I don't think he had any complaints over and above the run of the mill stuff. One of the buildings has a cool rooftop terrace with awesome views of the CWE skyline--It was fun to pre-game up there in the early evening before hitting the town.

Location-wise, it's okay. It's on Forest Park, which is great, but being on the outskirts of the CWE means that it's not as easy to walk to the CWE amenities, which would be a drawback personally.
