I drove by the Pacific Health Club the other day and didn't realize how huge it was until I drove by there at night and all the lights were on and you could see everything inside. I wish it was closer to home for me, but it is a great option for those who live in that area. Maybe they can franchise out my way eventually.
I was in there for the auction when Bresee closed - that building is very large, and was added on to multiple times. Behind the visible portion of the club is a large room and behind that was still another room which was the body shop, plus behind the center was the main repair area which had about 40 spots to work on cars. Then on top of that there's three more rooms on the right hand side where the parts counter used to be.
Apparently they put a pool in there someplace - the only question is if they dug a hole for it, or just put it on the ground and put ramps up to the top of it. With the ceiling height in there either way would have worked.

The 2 saltwater pools and hot tubs were built in ground. I haven't seen the lap pool yet since they finished it, but will be there this weekend, so I can check it out.
We been needin to replace some things and while we use the innerweb a lot sometimes its nice to hold things. Which means off to Buffalo. Love that city. Parts of it anyway. Shop til we drop. In some ways I'm glad I don't have any options cause I could get myself in trouble living near a big city. Dining options are crazy here. And wood working stores?? Oh dear god hide the credit cards.
Now in Niagara Falls. To call this city a dump is to kind.
Interesting! I've never even heard of this before, they must not have advertised very well. I wonder what will happen today since we're supposed to get some bad rain...looks like the majority of the events are outside.

Good question and I wonder if they have any alternatives if/when the bad weather does come.
encouraging read, sometimes things are more important than brick and mortar. Nice to read that this advance came out of SUNY Upstate.
