Went up there today, for a little while and it is pretty nice. There were quite a few fishermen in the Salmon River right now and it was cool seeing them in the River in/around the former village of Altmar.
The crowds for Oprah didn't look as bad as I thought they would be. I heard security was pretty tight.

Cool to see that Oprah went to check out the Mary Nelson Center to check it out and to meet with Ms. Nelson. I honestly don't know how she does it in regards to the school supply/backpack drive. I believe that she was on Regis and Kelly one episode highlighting that drive.
