I snapped this on the way home last night. It's supposed to be a baseball field in a community park. Looks like a pond/lake!

It will start to dry out after today. You can thank two spokes of energy in the upper levels for all the rain.

We need all the rain we can get. We are constantly in or out of a drought. This area never gets enough rain, and we are running out of water (reservoir) nearly all the time. I wouldn't mind if it rained like this a couple times a month!

WE CAN NEVER GET TOO MUCH RAIN unless it pours over 6 inches in a day or something like that, for days.

Is anyone else out on the lanai with coffee this evening? Very comfy out here, raining as always (Lutz) but lightly, no thunder or lightning. At this time dusk is settling in, sky is slightly pink through those tall trees facing me. I may stay out here for a while.

Had a half a inch today, the first rain we had in over two weeks. Kiss the rainy season bye bye starting this week. Dry air aloft will really put a cap on things. I am so ready to be done with the reverse west wind flow we have had for 4 months and see some mid 60's.

I live in South Tampa, and I swear I have seen more rain this season than any in recent memory. I can't wait for those disgusting ugly rain clouds to leave my bay alone! I swear every time I go out to sit by the pool a thunderstorm rolls in.
