Hi, all,

I'll be visiting Zephyrhills sometime in the next couple weeks. I need some ideas for family-friendly activities within a 20-minute drive of Zephyrhills. The family includes a toddler, a disabled child, four relatively able-bodied adults, and one disabled adult. Indoors is a must and both of our disabled folks are in wheelchairs.

I'm striking out on Google searches and I don't know the area; we're going to visit family who don't get out much and they don't know what there is either. What's around within 20 minutes?

Rose

Simply, not much.

You could tour the Zephyrhills Water Bottling facility near the airport?

MOSI is going to take them about 30 minutes to drive, especially if they aren't familiar with the area. Much further for the Children's Museum.

Just thought OP should know that, although I definitely agree a little further drive is necessary to actually "do something."

You might like the Pioneer Museum, north of Z-hills in Dade City:

Lots of medical clinics on 301, plus I seem to remember an applebees there as well.

Bowling and mini movie - this is pretty much everything Zephyrhills offers.
There is a nice park with 2 playground on SR 54 near US 301, but be prepared to see a lot of smoking half-drunk parents not controlling their kids there...

There is a really nice park in Zephyrhills close to downtown and bowling. That is about all I know of Z'hills.
