So this is pretty much caka too?

For some yes, for others no. Each individual is different.

I hope everyone enjoyed this gorgeous day, I almost couldn't have asked for better. Another nice, cooler evening on tap, nice (but warmer) day tomorrow, and then I guess we're in for it. Oh, well.

Hell returns by mid week. But we have had nice shots of cooler weather later than this before.

Interesting that today seems to be more dry than yesterday (more comfortable). I am going to miss this. Love the breeze.

Sorry if this has been asked before, but arent these dewpoints we've been having unusually low for May? Aren't we supposed to be having higher humidity by now????

I don't know if they're unusually low or not, my personal experience is that May is fairly dry, in fact, it's considered part of the "dry" season. It does start to get hot, and then the humidity catches up.

I like your City Data handle. The anhinga is such an interesting bird, because it doesn't have the natural oils to repel water on its feathers that other waterbirds have. It's fascinating to see one by the water with its wings spread, drying out.

They are really cool. I always say BATMAN! when I see them out there drying their wings and doing their little shake dance. Awesome birds

And they have that great S-curve serpentine neck. They almost look pre-historic to me.

I think of pelicans that way. They totally look like dinosaurs!
