thought I would throw this out there, we have a place in North Port and we will be on a cruise in late september, we are going to stay in North Port before and after the cruise, other than the parking garage for 12.00 a day is there anywhere near the port to park for a weekly rate, that is safe and affordable?
thanks

We are cruising from Tampa port on Dec 26th with Royal Caribbean. Since we are driving over to Tampa what parking is available at a cheaper rate than at the port authority terminal?. Will they shuttle us to the port. ?

Default Yes, There is Inexpensive Tampa Bay Cruise Parking

Yes, there's plenty of inexpensive parking available near the port, and they'll shuttle you to your terminal with your bags. It's usually much cheaper than the port, which was $15 per day last time I checked.

Just do a search for "Tampa Bay Cruise Parking" or "parking near Tampa port," and you'll see lots of listings and ads.

You book your parking reservation online. It's easy if you know your dates and times of departure and return. Then, before you show up, you call the parking management company, and they pick you up in their shuttle.

Check out the reviews to help find a reputable company.

We stayed in the downtown Howard Johnsons over the Xmas holidays and even though we only stayed at the hotel one night the 10 days we were off on a cruise the parking was free for our car, also free shuttle service to the port and back to the hotel when your cruise is over.,
You could give em a call,to make sure i wasnt dreaming.. .

Wouldn't it be cheaper to get a taxi to and from the terminals?

That would be a long and expensive taxi ride if talking about the North Port down by Port Charlotte.
