When I moved out here, I tried to find a replacement- Checkers isn't bad. I like Checkers for what it is, not for how it tastes compared to In N Out, which isnt anywhere close. Five guys is closer to it than anything I've found. Even Whataburger. Whataburger=Sonic. Which isnt saying much.

Not much of a fan a fan of Five Guys - many like it though.

Green Iguana is good.
My new favorite is the Sloppy Pelican for Burgers - lots of fun and great water views + sunsets also.

It's on Blind Pass in St. Pete Beach.

I would recommend that Five Guys restaurant. You can make your own burger there and if you want to stack it, YOU CAN STACK IT!! Those burgers are HUGE, I was shocked!! And the small French fry.... it's like a McDonald's large! A large French fry at Five Guys serves 4 people!! That would be your best choice.
