Here are my requirements (I have children, so I need requirements):

1. Employment for teachers
2. Employment for city carriers (mailmen)
3. Good school systems
4. Mountain views/on a mountain-soemthing with a mountain!
5. Rural living, but not too far from any kind of city (no specific city, just ones with hospitals, grocery shopping, yaddayadda)
6. No high taxes, high insurance prices
7. Affordable housing (this depends on what I make as a teacher. I guess anything up to $200K, but I really wouldn't want to leave the mid 100'sK) with some land (like near an acre or more)
8. Good air, good water, good no-crime rate
9. Not near a "ghetto" (if you even have those around!)
10. No flooding, no tornados, no super freezing winter

I hope someone can help me

If I was doing realtor.com, I don't think I could put Tri-Cities (I could be wrong though). What exactly are the "tri-cities"?

Default oops! Sorry

My bad, Tri-Cities is made up of three larger cities, they are : Johnson City (37601,37602, 37604,37605) Kingsport(37660,37662,37663,37664,37665) and Bristol (37620,37621,37625). There are smaller areas (towns) within the Tri-Cities such as Gray(37615), Blountville(37617),Colonial Heights (37663) Elizabethton(37643, 37644), Jonesborough(37659), Piney Flats(37689, 37699),Greeneville (37743,37744, 37745) and some others. I have inserted zip codes of those areas to make your search on Realtor.com easier You can also put in these zip codes then on the left hand side it will ask if you want to add near by areas, you can do that and expand your search that way. Sorry should have been more specific.
Hope this helps!
