My husband & I are escaping the fast life of the country turned city and relocating anywhere eastern Tennessee. We are looking for an old farmhouse-1800's to early 1900's, with atleast 5 acres, a barn and hopefully, some outbuildings. A creek or brook would be great on the property. A foreclosure property would be fantastic because funds are limited. We want our privacy back and do not mind a half hr drive to town. So, I guess we're looking for that one horse town type feel where people are friendly but understand privacy & respect go hand in hand...too many have forgotten this or just havent been taught & we cant stand it!! So, any suggestions?? My family is from KY, so we arent strangers to this way of living...

There was a great one on like 20 or 25 acres in the Cookeville area for a while. If I were staying in TN I'd have looked at it.
