Thank you so much

Good morning everyone. We have had a wonderfully productive weekend. Two new solar mounts and 800 pounds of concrete later and we need more concrete

I also got all of my fruit trees planted

And for today...I just posted a new story about Fall in our little compound. It is a fun story about new toys and apple picking with the kids. Also Niki got hurt and is on bed rest so check it out and have a great day

Really...is this supposed to be spring, lol? It is an ugly cold and blustery day here. Twelve inches of snow expected by Wednesday morning

Oh well...I did get another story done. We now have a new pool table that Mike installed...yay.

The poor cows...oh and we have two new baby calves that I know about. After the snow thaws I will get some pictures

Yay...the sun is shining. Now maybe we can get some work done. I just posted a story about our new solar panel mounts that Mike had made.

Here is a baby bull calf and his dad

Have a great week

Good morning.

It is a beautiful day here and we've had a great weekend. Mike and I are getting back to our usual craziness. We got all the solar panel mounts in the ground and painted and today they are pouring a concrete slab for the store.

Yay....spring. I have also gotten my garden organized and planted more spinach, lettuce, and peas.

All of our calves have been born. We now have 5. Sadly one of them died. Three are solid black, one is black with a full white face, and another is a very light tan. When I see them all together I will post a picture.

Have a great day!! and enjoy this weather

Hi again Lisa, thanks for the update. Spring just won't come to Maryland. We had a fire on Saturday night and the furnace was running later that evening. WTF is up with THAT? Today they say it will be 60 but I'll believe it when I see it. Glad to hear your weather is better.

It's been nice here in East TN but it is going to get down to the freezing mark Thursday night! It's almost too late for redbud winter!

The weather seems to be all over the place. We will have one or two good days and then rain. Yesterday we met with our grader at the pace where we will be building cabins and we had frost on the Jeep when we left. I just hope we don't go from this up and down weather to the heat of summer.

My guess is he means he had a fire going...not a fire where the fire department needs to be called.
