Totally unrelated stories but both current. We had another "take shelter immediately" tornado warning yesterday evening. It wasn't for my county but some of my town is also in Roane County so I guess that's why I saw it too. I know Kingston and I think Lenoir City were involved as well. It was pretty serious because it was another one where no matter what channel you are watching, the entire screen goes black to give you this warning from Morristown. The severe weather continued to move south because at 9:00P, ABC gave way to local weather programming and towns were mentioned near the Ft Loudoun area/Tellico. I see nothing about it this morning so I'll assume the tornado either didn't materialize or did no damage. By the way, after that, a show about the Great Smoky Mountains came on. They didn't go back to regular programming.

Would you live near a nuclear reactor? That's today's news story. Notice they are talking multiple locations, not just one.

TVA could build new mini-nuclear light water reactors
