Of course I doubt he is REALLY afraid of being shot since there all all kinds of ways to prevent that at an event.

He just doesn't have the courage to face anyone who might fire some questions about his lockstep allegiance to McConnell, Ryan and Trump...which is really more cowardly than having to face real bullets...

Even the people who voted for him might think he looked a little chicken in that news clip...
He's not simply a coward. He's a POS.

I find it really hard to believe he has his JD. When he speaks he sounds like he's as dumb as a bag of hammers.

Hey, now. That's insulting to a bag of hammers. A hammer is actually useful .

He's scared of his constituents, but not because he thinks he's going to get shot at. Just a BS excuse to avoid angry constituents showing up at town halls like everywhere else in the country.

Gabby Giffords said it herself: Man up Gohmert.

"To the politicians who have abandoned their civic obligations, I say this:Have some courage. Face your constituents. Hold town halls." "I was shot on a Saturday morning. By Monday morning, my offices were open to the public. Ron Barber- at my side that Saturday, who was shot multiple times, then elected to Congress in my stead-held town halls. It's what the people deserve in a representative."

Good Lord, if you have only watched the LIBERAL news you would NOT about several town hall meetings completely interrupting the planned meeting, taking over the meeting, there was shouting and so much disruption, that the crowds looked as if at any moment they COULD disrupt in the some form of violence.

These crowds have been "frightened up" by the liberal media, instilling, unfounded fears in them. This is what they do best !!

Gohmert said he would be glad to meet with a small group of LEADERS and answer their question. So leaders, MEET WITH HIM. Oh, by the way the same questions will be asked that have already BEEN asked over and over again. People just watch the same bias news over and over, if THEY don't really know the answers

I BELIEVE THEY ALREADY KNOW THE ANSWERS BUT JUST DON'T LIKE THE RESPONSES.

Why would you want to stand there and listen to people scream at you and boo you? Would you? Or Why would you?

That's your bias showing your liberal leaning. He has a Texas accent, you know like many of the thousands of Texans that come to visit your beautiful state and spend millions of dollars for you economy each year. lol

It has nothing to do with his accent. That's absurd. Louie Gohmert is a moron and an embarrassment to this state. Watch him waste time on OUR TAXPAYER dollars ranting about "gay space colonies."

Is this someone to be proud of? This is the best we can send to Congress? Political leanings are irrelevant. A moron is a moron.

Leader? What leader? I am a citizen and constituent with many concerns about the current administration. I don't have a "leader." I'd like to hear directly from my elected official.
