The major employers in Waco are:
1. Waco ISD
2. Baylor University
3. Providence Healthcare (hospital)
4. Hillcrest Healthcare (hospital)
5. City of Waco
6. HEB

Look for a job with those six employers. That will be your best odds of finding work in Waco.

Temple-Belton-Killeen, my friend. Outpacing Waco on every angle. Yeah, Ft. Hood helps. But Waco has shot itself in the foot several times losing business to the southern megalopolus. Texas Instruments and Texas Motorplex shoulda been Waco enterprises. But....nooooo.

WacoBill, and txstate, let's now let the renewed clamor for a Waco-sub-forum to begin. We haven't been down, that dead end road, in less see, oh, about a year give or take. Come to think of it, it's been about that amount of time or longer, since the clamor for a Midland/Odessa SF, last was for a RGV, sub-forum, just before that a Mid-Central Texas SF. Killeen,Temple, Waco, and so on. Oh well, just saying, I've got to go to bed, this is bad stuff I'm writing.
