Houston has the best downtown skyline in Texas period and the third best in the USA after Chicago and New York

Also which is the Best.
Heaven forbid that I defend any city skyline but setting up the argument with all night photos of every town but Lubbock sort of reminded me of one of those commercials for a weight loss product. In the before picture the person has no makeup, their hair is uncombed, and they look as if someone just killed their dog. In the afterward picture, the same person has had a team of makeup artists work on them for at least two days, and they even have their teeth whitened for the huge smile they now have on their face. It's just my humble opinion but don't you think this is a bit disingenuous to show nighttime photos for all but Lubbock?

Compared to alot of towns the size of Midland, the skyline isn't that bad. As a matter of fact, with 103,000 people, I'd say Midland has a great skyline (for a town its size). At least it's dense.

Here's a pic of FW's developing skyline.... It's not much, but it's something. Notice the cranes....

Yep, lots of construction going on there. I was just there last night in Sundance Square and was comparing it to the Austin skyline I saw last weekend. No comparison.

Oh of course there's no comparison.... Austin is going to look completely different in the next few years, while Fort Worth's skyline will have two new additions that just barely make a dent. BTW, the Omni Hotel will be 100 ft. shorter than expected.

But getting back on topic, I think El Paso has the worst skyline in the state, only becuase there is no skyline there what so ever........

Corpus Christi definitely has the best skyline for a city its size.

The challenge for CC is filling all that office space.
