Knew a girl that was from Weatherford and she worked as part of the staff (writer, I think) for KOTH. She said it was the easiest job she would ever have, since she basically grew up in the show's setting

NAS JRB is in Fort Worth. Sheppard is in Wichita Falls. But Wichita Falls is too far from Houston/SA. If I had to guess I'd say Bryan/College Station or Temple/Killeen.
