We are looking to the possibility to move from Europe to the USA sometime during 2010 with the strong possibility we would live in Longview region. Can someone please recommend schools in Longview that accept 4 year olds and what king of costs we can expect? (If not from Longview a good guess from someone in the region would still help us a lot!). We would prefer a Montessori School if possible but not 100% needed. To be honest we are confused from conflicting information on the internet whether schooling for young children is free (or almost free like in Europe) or as much as 5-10k/year. Naturally our child's schooling is utmost importance to us so any help you could provide would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

$400-$500 a month for pre-schools, Oak Forest Montessori would probably be a bit over $500.

Public Kindergarten costs would come through your local school taxes. Not sure about private kindergarten options.
