Longhorns really know how to have a good time, according to Playboy magazine. The magazine chose the University of Texas at Austin as the No. 1 party school in the nation in its May 2010 issue, which hit newsstands Friday.

Funny stuff!...LOL. I'm not sure about the previous "Playboy" rankings but Texas State (formerly Southwest Texas State), and my very own Texas Tech, have often been referred to as "party schools" in Texas. I guess the Horns have been having more fun than I thougt!...LOL.

Makes good sense. Austin must be at the top of the list as the "best party town."

And my SCUBA club, "The University SCUBA Club" was the best party club on the campus back in the 1980's. At that time it had 200 members per semester. Nothing like a party under water. A friend of mine and I founded it back in 1964. 46 years later it is still going on.
