Just wondering if the Wolcott (or Walcott) House Museum is still open? I think it was in Maumee if my memory serves me right. When I moved away, it had only been restored and open to the public for a few years..... I think it's near railroad tracks or an old train depot??? (or I may be thinking of something else)

Also, what about Sauder's (sp?) Museum, which was a farm you could visit....I think it was near Archibald, or something like that? I went there as a child then took my son there too...the kids could feed the farm animals, go for hayrides, tour different parts of the farm, etc. It was a bit of a drive from Waterville, but always a lot of fun.

Just taking another trip down memory lane....

Sauder Farm has grown a lot over the years, and they just began another upgrade project. If you were there years ago when they were just starting, I think you would find a lot of changes. This past weekend they had their classic car "show". One difference with their activity, the cars all must be from, I believe 1942, or before.

Wolcott house has also seen some growth over the years, although not as dramatic as Sauders. They have a couple of buildings in their complex now.

Historic Sauder Village

Wolcott

Enjoy your trip down memory lane.

Wow, you are right! Looking at the websites, I can't believe how much these two places have grown and progressed. I will definitely visit them the next time I"m up there!
Thanks!
