Actually, since I'm not into space travel, I prefer Earth. Anyplace will do. I've never been to a place on that planet that I didn't like.

I agree with the OP: Korea's back country is a beautiful and very enjoyable place to visit.

Chicago sucks and I live here lol.

They shut down the beach on Monday Memorial day because it was "too hot".

Actually a large gang wars shootout was about to break out and little ghetto trash kids were pushing people off bikes and about to get their heads stomped in by good citizens so that's why it was shut down.

To save face however Chicago says it was because it was too hot even though a day earlier and 20 degrees hotter it was able to stay open all day.

That putz Rahm Emanuel is our Mayor, that mafia boss Dick Daley just got out as our Mayor.

No Smoking nin bars, super high taxes, luxury taxes on everything tourits do, corrupt police, corrrupt politicians, rats.

Hmmm ... sounds a lot like Philadelphia!!!

Maybe The Windy City and the City Of Brotherly Love should be "sister cities"!!!!!

I'll never forget a trip to Katmai National Park in Alaska. I've had dozens of outstanding fishing trips, but that one was OH-MY-GAWD fantastic. And the giant brown (Grizzly) bears were everywhere but not spoiled by human interaction. We met one on the trail and just had to step off of it and "talk to him" as he passed by at arm's distance. Park rangers met us when we first landed in a float plane, and we weren't allowed to step foot onto shore until they indoctrinated us on how to interact with the bears.

I haven't traveled overseas much, so a trip to Japan many years ago was really interesting. Cancun was super relaxing. The Oregon Coast was wonderful. Yellowstone is always great, as is Glacier. At 65 I could talk for hours about dozens of great vacations, but for me Katmai has to top the list so far.
