If you don't like security restrictions when you fly, then find some other way to travel. Vote with your dollars so to speak.
I rarely fly. I prefer to drive or take Amtrak. I don't care for the probing and intrusions so I only fly when absolutely necessary. And even then I go kicking and screaming.

What happened when your job requires you to be in areas between 500 and 1500 miles from your home every week? Taking the train isn't viable for business travel other than between DC and Philly or Philly and NYC or NYC and Boston.

I don't fall into that category. Most people don't. My other half travels for work and doesn't mind the airport nonsense. He says you just get used to it. I don't go along with things like that nearly as easily, but we're all different.
Some people love the security and it gives them the warm fuzzies. Good for them. For others, it annoys the hell out of us. At this point, it doesn't seem like there's much we can do about it unfortunately. So I drive instead.

Get a different job. You are not required as an American citizen to utilize an airplane for travel.

That's the thing. We "get used" to and silently accept every inconvenience imposed upon us.

Well, this is just a silly statement. Jobs don't come easily and some require travel. What about tourism? Should it die, only because American citizens are not required to utilize an airplane for travel??
Maybe that's the whole purpose of those forced inconveniences to discourage us from travel, whatever the agenda is hidden behind it....

You have a much greater chance of dying in the shower every morning, or simply going to work. Our country has been turned upside down by irrational fear and paranoid delusions. What is to stop a terrorist from blowing you up in line while waiting two hours to go through the useless scanner? Maybe we need a security line for the security line.
Another common line Moderator cut: see comment is "would you fly on a plane that has no security". Amazing such a thing has existed for decades. They're called charters. You can book one today if you have the cash. No TSA, no body scanners. Amazingly, planes have not been falling out of the sky on a daily basis, despite hundreds of charter flights. Hmmm, I wonder why that is....

When there are only five companies in the country that are in the very niche industry you're in, "getting another job" isn't as easy as it sounds.
I know it is not easy but some people seem to think they have a constitutionally protected right to travel without submitting to security regulations. This is not nearly the same thing as walking down the streets and being randomly stopped for a search by a government official.
