It didn't bother to state that the kid and his three friends carjacked a man and woman, severely beat the two of them, stole everything they had, then beat them more as they tried to crawl away, then stole their car, crashed it, and the kid was shot by the police.
One of the prime reason I am very suspicious of news and take it with grain of salt. I did not know that part of the story.... The media only said that this "kid" broke into a parked empty car to steal stufs
It's interesting the Atlanta PD has never really been seen as bad or corrupt. Even the "Ferguson effect" didn't happen here as murder #s remained stable YoY, and almost all other crime decreased YoY. I just don't see much complaints here against the police.

Atlanta's murder rate has gotten better over the years. Hopefully it will continue to get better.
I think in New Mexico you areally more likely to be killed by cop than in any other state. The Albuquerque police department had the feds investigating them last year for years of police abuse and shootings.
