Could've been. Joke aside, I loved this type of sausage back home and was quite happy to find something similar here and I expected to like it. I guess there are many different kinds and I wasn't lucky to find a good one.

OK, peeps, some recommendations as far as brands?

Brands of chorizo specifically or just sausage in general?

I guess it really does not matter - chorizo or other - the best is from the butcher - no name tag on it!

Don't buy anything that comes in a plastic tube. Wrapped up in butchers paper on a styrofoam tray is the way to go.

And don't forget to cook it correctly.

My reading comprehension today is not as good as some others. A bit preoccupied.

Cook? I thought it was cooked sausage... Seems like my recollection is VERY vague!

Its cooked after you cook it!

It does not come pre-cooked that I know of - if it does - I wouldn't even taste it with someone elses tongue!

Ha, I'm pretty sure what I tried was pre-cooked. So how do you cook it? Grill? Fry?
