I was sorry to see Alex leave the show but his health and family are much more important than hauling loads every day.

Rick is STILL whining about stuff! Now it's his neck and back caused by the ancient Peterbilt they've given him to drive. At least it hasn't broken down and left him stranded somewhere.

Next week...Drew FINALLY comes back. I was beginning to think he had gotten eaten by the polar bear from a couple of episodes ago.

Rick needs to shut his pie hole. I found myself muting him every time he opened his mouth. From what I'm reading I didn't miss anything. However, Rick found a friend and I was impressed how he worked with the older trucker whose heater was malfunctioning.

Rick is really high maintenance. But this new guy may cause Rick to stay - until his next drama moment erupts.

Looks like next week it's the start of the Mallick Rig Move. Given that Alex is not coming back and Hugh's experience, I hope to see Hugh on a rig move.

Hugh was truly tested with the kid...I thought it was funny he kept stalling the truck. Drew almost drives into the snow bank but was clever in getting control of the trailer. Rick is Rick...whine, whine, whine but since the meds have kicked in he seems to have calmed down a little.

I agree but doubt they will ever return to Yellowknife after the supposed problems the operators of the ice road had with the cameras, crew and equipment.
