It was moved from Thursdays to Tuesdays for its second season in 2012 and wound up 5th in the ratings in total viewers, and slipped to 8th place last year.
I am set to watch the season premiere tonight. The end of last season was excellent.
Person of Interest has some great actors like Michael Emerson, Jim Caviezel, and Sarah Shahi. However, the very talented and oft overlooked actor I am really looking forward to seeing is of course, "Bear"! "I really am only in it for the dog!"

Loved it! Loved the scenes with Shaw as the cosmetics salesperson and Root as the customer. If there could be any job so NOT suited for Shaw, it was this one. Brilliant job by the writers, and the interaction between Shaw and Root was hysterical. I laughed at Shaw's performance tonight. Sarah Shahi was perfect tonight. I DVR'd it, so I'll watch it again to get all the messages...
Wow! This episode was amazing and at times, confusing! Reese there at Carter's old desk with Fusco, it's so sad without her there! Not the job I would've given Reese...he's probably already raised a lot of red flags at a time they're supposed to be lying low, but guess it DID help him to handle the number in some ways. Finch, pretending to be a normal professor, and SO not happy! What the heck did he see down in that abandoned subway building? Made me mad they didn't show us! Any guesses? Another mystery...the deadly blonde Martine (or whatever her name really is)...not sure even who she is working for, but I think she's hot on the trail of Team Machine. Root...she's come a long way from the crazy loon she started out as, gotta admit, she's great! And does anyone know who Romeo is? Nice to see Elias again and Bear, our sweet Bear! It was like some weird kind of family reunion!
With all the new shows airing, it was great to see POI back on the air and having a decent enough show to start the season. Definite intrigue and mystery and I hope that the show remains on my 'watch list' if the writers just stay the course and don't 'jump the shark' this season - fingers crossed (lol) .

I'm guessing he saw the perfect place to set up his new 'Library'.
Great season premier, and Bear got lots of airtime.
So glad it's back!!
