TBS cancels "People of Earth" reversing an earlier decision to renew
Well shoot, I liked that show. Quirky, unique, fun.
This is at least the 3rd time a network has renewed a series, then later cancelled it. While that's a drop in the renewal bucket, it's becoming obvious that nothing means nothing any more.
I think it might be illuminating to find out why it is happening. I wouldn't be surprised that there is a common root cause that is a reflection of some durable change in the industry.
