One of these days someone is going to say, "I do not want a SS fridge, because my magnets won't stick to it."

Then I will say, "Finally! Someone who gets it!"

Most shows probably wouldn't appeal to people nowadays without some drama...

I liked that reno show with the single mom in Minneapolis. But it doesn't seem to have had many episodes. On the one hand I didn't think she did some things that carefully but I gave her a complete pass because she was taking really old run down houses in old neighborhoods and fixing them up on a budget. I liked seeing the old houses, liked the idea of neighborhood renewal, liked that it was in Minneapolis which isn't NY, Miami etc.

Rehab Addict; the host is Nicole Curtis. She's fabulous.

I hear people say that a lot, but magnets stick just fine to my SS fridge. The fingerprints and dog nose-prints, however, are another issue...

I have yet to see an episode of this show where Hilary can deliver on her promised renovations. Why is she ALWAYS surprised when the contractors find a major problem that means the homeowners will not get what she has promised? What kind of designer does not thoroughly measure the space and think through the design for adding an additional bedroom or bathroom, etc? Hilary is a joke...........lol

I always heard that you should have a 10% contingency fund on all renovations...why this is not done on this show is probably just to add more "drama"...

This is exactly what I want to know.

Hey moron, you had 20 shows already and in all 20 shows they opened a wall and had a major set back. You had to spend more money of stuff like un clogging a drain, or a pipe was in the wall. Moron, every house built circo 1977 ws not meant to be open concept.

Lightbulb moment:

I will have extra money in reserve for some un-forseen emergency.

If she is really a designer, she would already know this.

I dont want drama, or tension when i watch these shows, i want calming advice on how to do thingm get different ideas. i dont give a crap if the wife cant get her jacuzzi. WTF???
