Regarding Monica, I think the last time an alliance set up a split vote in case of an idol and someone voted differently than instructed, it was Tyson essentially voting himself out of Heroes vs Villains.

Survivor China winner Todd is on Dr Phil. He's full blown alcoholic near death. He's on stage wasted. He's been brought to the hospital with 0.582 blood alcohol level. He uses at least two bottles of vodka. He just blew 0.25 on stage. He blew all his Survivor winnings. It's all gone and so's his life and health.

That is up to him and only he can help himself. maybe he needs to be in a facility to sober up after that counseling may help but he is the one controlling the decision to pickup the drink and put it in his mouth.

These appearances seem so unhealthy. i can only imagine him thinking to himself (and his mother and everyone else who wanted him on the show incl Dr. Phil) that he has to be drunk on the show to be a good story, get paid for being a hot mess.
Really, worst thing for him. Dr. Drew's show i thought was sort of helpful, despite a couple of deaths a lot of people from his show said it helped. One hr on Dr Phil? Drunk? No.

Looks to be a female advantage challenge this week with them leaning over water holding onto a knotted rope. Laura M's daughter should do well as tiny as she is if she puts her mind to it I'd think.

Katie said in her cameo "I just like to please my parents" so don't think Tina jabbering bothered her. Sorry can't get the links to show up.

I don't remember him, but very sad, still. As time goes on, we'll have more and more "Survivors in the Sky", I'm afraid.

I'm hoping the 90 days that the Dr. Phil show is giving Todd will be the salvation he needs. I know he can stay longer than 90 days if need be, so getting him away from the Suvivor "gang" that goes to all the fundraisers, etc., may just be the best thing for him. Glad to see Sandra Diaz-Twine at his side...

I agree. I also thought it was very interesting that Dr. Phil didn't really go into why Todd was drinking so much. There's usually some sort of underlying issue when people start drinking.

The whole episode just seemed very rushed and "let's show him making an a** of himself" to me, which can't be helpful. I really hope he gets the help he needs, though.

Any minute tonight, I was expecting Dr. Phil to come out of the jungle dispensing advice to the remaining loved ones on the show tonight.

What a snoozer!
