The show's a big international success and the Network has a sweet deal with Amazon Prime. It'll be renewed one more season if only for that reason.

Junior is one crazy stalker weirdo.
Joe might be the only sane one but he "loves' Nori so...
Nori has the biggest forehead I've ever seen.
Rebecca deserved to die. End of story.
Andrea didn't deserve to die...but her dying on True Blood was WAY better!
Basic Townspeople...why the heck are you so trusting???

NOW...

Barby used to be the most sane one but he was over the top unrealistic in his love for Julia.
Julia is ok...but all this "I care about our town" just wasn't believable.
Sam, Pauline, Dwight Yoakum...just weird...all of it WEIRD.

And then there's Jim...how can he try to poison the town on Monday and by Wednesday he's everybody's friend again? How can he extort water and other resources on Tuesday but say he has the town's best interest at heart on Thursday? How can we believe anything he says or does?

In my mind, you need at least ONE character that's worth watching...has some semblance of logic and smarts...unfortunately, NOT ONE character used any part of their brain at any time. I SO wanted to like this show, but after this season, it's beyond me. I can't even think what they'll bring back next year when all I really want is for nearly everyone to die. I know it's terrible...but it would help with my anxiety!
I agree.... They actually had something good going with the first season. Then...... this season happened

Something else I can't stand is how everyone calls Jim "big Jim".... GAWD that gets on my nerves!

Especially since they call his son Junior. Not Little Jim, Junior. There is no reason to call him anything but Jim, because no one can get them confused.

Lol--agree with everything you said. I also noticed Junior (definitely a stalker) walks around with that microphone on his collar. Who is he going to talk to? There is nobody else who has one.

People coming and going from the dome like it's a mall.

Julia has died or almost died three times and come back.

Rebecca just appeared at the beginning of this season? The science expert? Wouldn't she have been the first person involved when the dome appeared?

Jim's dead wife is suddenly is alive and she can predict everything still? Her brother wasn't in the first season either. That dead girl coming back to life? I don't even know where Lyle came from.

Then when someone said something about the "last two weeks with the dome"? I almost fell of my chair. Two weeks are supposed to have passed with all the stuff that happened?

Nothing made sense this season.

My husband stopped watching about 5 shows ago. I kept saying--but it's Spielberg and King--they won't let it go downhill. Yet it still jumped the shark. And so did Falling Skies--this whole season was ridiculous. Maybe Spielberg is spread too thin.

You've got to remember, this has all taken place within two or three weeks. This is "the beginning"

They only brought Rabecca in to replace the female cop that died in the first episode. I never liked the scientist chick from the get-go, but I thought the way they killed her was uncalled for. That's another thing.... this show has gotten increasingly graphic with it's violence. Not gory, but graphic.

I liked the first season, I just couldn't get into this season.
There were too many teenager emotions for me, at times some characters would starting to remind me of something I would see out of a Twilight movie, especially early in the season. Hopefully the next season will hold my attention.

How does a show with a "dome" over a town jump a shark? Pretty much all logic is off the table.

I have a love/hate relationship with this show.

The writing is wonky and the acing is subpar, but there's just something about the overall story line that keeps me coming back. I feel like I'm actually the dome (or is it purgatory) because I really want to know what happens next episode.
