I've tried.....and I just can't watch much of Fallon. I've looked this week to see who his guests were to see if maybe I'd tune in for at least that part and even there didn't have anyone I was all that interested in.

I saw part of his singing deal with Audra McDonald and while I really like her the segment was just too stupid to be funny. What percent of water is celery? That just isn't funny.....

Exactly. In the mold of Vince Vaughn. Seems to be prevalent today.

Just goes to show you how stupid Americans are (generally) since they were all actual questions from a website.

I know that they came from a website...Yahoo Answers to be specific. There are plenty of questions that are asked that are ignorant, and that doesn't make them funny.
I also realize they were trying to make fun of the questions...but it just wasn't funny.

And yet, from what I've read, he remains on top with strong ratings. Boggles the mind.

Part of it, of course, is that he has no competition. But still, these days there are far better options. Personally, I watch my DVR'd classic Untouchables and Twilight Zone episodes.

If the ratings are high, it's only because people are still giving him a chance. I'm way past giving him a chance, but last night I didn't get the remote grabbed in time and saw a bit of his preview. He was springing up and down on his chair, banging his fists on his desk, and shrieking. It reminded me of apes I've seen in zoos.

There will always be those folks who like him. I won't be one of those folks. I might tune in every now and then to see who the guests are, but at the rate he's going, even really good guests won't be able to salvage his low IQ kind of entertainment.

Actually Kimmel appears to be leading the past few weeks unless you're counting Youtube postings for scoring.

My DVR was set to record every nite. I've really tried to give him a fair amount of time to settle down and act like someone over the age of 12. I've cancelled the recording setting now. He's just terrible.
