This show has taken on more of a religious tone now. At first I thought it was sci-fi. The anti-christ baby Rachel is going to have? And the preacher praying and then what's with the tree tattoo appearing on his body? IDK, my head hurts, I have so many questions, I hope they answer in the finale because I'm thinking I won't be watching a second season of this.

Oh, that's exactly why I will be watching a second season.
Last night was way over the top for me!! The markings on the preacher really thru me for a loop. A tree? Hadn't thought of that.
I thought maybe something 'devilish'...
I'll watch the season finale, but I need something solid to keep me watching.
It's branching out all over the place. jmo
They go away and come back, go away , come back. Go away, come back. wtf???
Min, I have watched the series, "The Returned". I liked it very much. IIRC it has 8 episodes, each one dealing with an individual. It is/was on the Sundance channel. They sometimes show the series over. There is supposed to be another season this year. I have my DVR set for if, or when, another season comes on.
seashelly, well, sheriff Fred's brother, Freddy Kruger, keeps coming back to life! (I assume the Cravens are brothers)
Thanks, I must have missed your post because I just noticed it now. I don't get the Sundance Channel but I will look for The Returned on NetFlix to see if they have it on DVD.
I'm glad the show went on to explain the daisy flower reference in Rachelle's room because I saw where the camera focused on it but I didn't catch the previous connection. I guess it was in-the-passing during a previous episode because I do not remember a daisy. Now I'm wondering if the couch throw pillow with the green embroidered spread out tree motif that was sitting on the Jacob's Family couch during the Lucille-Henry-Pastor James scene has any significance. So many little details to keep in mind that could come into play in later episodes. I'm still enjoying the show.

After last night's episode, I'm craving more and now it's the season finale. I really hope they renew this because I am so caught up in it. All these little clues and details are addicting. I watch an episode twice to see what I've missed. Usually a lot! It's really intriguing!!
IIRC when Marty and the reverend were out in a field, Marty saw a daisy near where an insect came up out of the ground and flew up into the sky to join other insects that formed the pattern of the tree the reverend has on his back. Not sure what that all means. Sometimes my brain can't hold anymore "weird".
